Hair at the Academy – A Salon in Exeter Taking People off the Street

Twenty-six charities gathered at Sandy Park to plan their fund-raising activities for the 2025/26 season.

These charities, all from the wider Exeter area, have been selected by the Exeter Chiefs Foundation’s board of trustees to benefit from the fund-raising activities that take place on men’s and women’s match-days.

These charities will provide volunteer hours for bucket collections and car parking donations on match-days in return for a share of the money collected.

These designated funds are ring-fenced specifically for these organisations and will be distributed to them at the start of the following season.

Kieron Northcott, deputy chief executive of Exeter Chiefs, and Becky Skinner, the Foundation’s secretary, met with the designated charities’ representatives to allocate the match duties.

Northcott said: “This is a great opportunity for these charities to raise funds to benefit the causes and projects they are supporting. Also, I am really keen for these volunteers to immerse themselves in our match-day experience at Sandy Park and to thoroughly enjoy themselves.”
