We were honoured to welcome the High Sheriff of Devon Mrs Caroline Harlow.
Our students led a fantastic Q&A session, asking thoughtful questions and engaging in open discussion. Caroline spoke powerfully on a range of important and diverse topics, including the serious impact of gambling and alcohol abuse, and highlighted the exceptional importance of the High Sheriff of Devon’s role supporting the Crown, the judiciary, and the community within their county.
Drum role please… we are incredibly proud to share that Hair at the Academy was awarded the highly prestigious High Sheriff of Devon Award 2026, in recognition of our great and valuable service to the community.
The award also acknowledges the appreciation of residents across the county for our ongoing contribution to enhancing the life of the community. A truly special moment for our whole Academy.
