Practical Observation: You will be required to carry out practical assessment for some units. These will be completed during your tutor visits or via online video. You will need to successfully complete and pass a particular number of assessments detailed in each unit.

Learn and Grow: Take your learning to the next level with research tasks and quizzes.

Assessment: At the end of the unit you will be set tasks to show your understanding of each unit. These will need to be uploaded for your tutor to mark and give you feedback. Once all criteria has been met, your assessor will sign off the completed unit.

LEARN & GROW

Research the following hair up techniques and give a short description of each one:

  • Curls
  • Plait
  • Pleat
  • Rolls
  • Spiral curls
  • Finger drying

Example:

Curls- Individual curls can be created using hair straighteners or curling tongs. The curls can then be placed on the head and pinned up to create a hair up style.
